There was a farmer who collected horses; One day, he found out that one of his horse became ill and he called the veterinarian, who said:
- Well, your horse has a virus. He must take this medicine for three days. I'll come back on the 3rd day and if he's not better, we're going to have to put him down.
Nearby, the pig listened closely to their conversation.
The next day, they gave him the medicine and left. The pig approached the horse and said:
- Be strong, my friend. Get up or else they're going to put you to sleep!
On the second day, they gave him the medicine and left. The pig came back and said:
- Come on buddy, get up or else you're going to die! Come on, I'll help you get up. Let's go! One, two, three...
On the third day, they came to give him the medicine and the vet said:
- Unfortunately, we're going to have to put him down tomorrow. Otherwise, the virus might spread and infect the other horses.
After they left, the pig approached the horse and said:
- Listen pal, it's now or never! Get up, come on! Have courage! Come on! Get up! Get up! That's it, slowly! Great! Come on, one, two, three... Good, good. Now faster, come on.... Fantastic! Run, run more! Yes! Yay! Yes! You did it, you're a champion!!!
All of a sudden, the owner came back, saw the horse running in the field and began shouting:
- It's a miracle! My horse is cured. This deserves a party. Let's kill the pig!
Points for reflection: this often happens in the workplace. Nobody truly knows which employee actually deserves the merit of success, or who's actually contributing the necessary support to make things happen.

My Life....My Wife.....
Ek ladki ko chaha tha mein ne, par woh to mujhse nafrath karti thi,
mujhe aur mere dosto ko DSP gang bulati thi.
Samye beethta gaya aur nafrath kam hoti gayi,
dekte hi dekte dosti pyaar be badalti gayi.
Ek din usne kaha mein tumse pyaar karthi hoon,
par ghar walo se bhi darthi hoon,
Mein tumse shadi nahi kar sakkti hoon,
par kisse aur ki biwi bhi nahi ban sakkti hoon.
Mein kaha dil ki suno aur mere saat bhaag chalo,
ussne kaha yeh mumkin nahi,
Mein kaha tum kissi aur ki ho jao,
yeh mujhe manjur nahi.
Bahut socha par kuch na nikla natija,
Mein kaha mein tumhare matha pitha ko pataunga,
Shadi to mein tujhse hi karunga.
Jab uske ghar mein pata chaala,
ek bada sa tufan utgayi.
Kisi ne hamri ek na suni,
jindagi maut se battar baan gayi.
Humne har mandir or masjid ka darwaja khat-khatya,
Phir bagwaan ne apna chamtakar dikya.
Bina kuch bole,ladki ke matha pitha maan gaye,
Dekthe hi dekthe dil me kushiyon ki diye jal gaye.
Pehle hui sagai or phir hui shaadi,
woh ladki jo kabi mujshe nafarth kari thi,
Aaj wahi ladki ban gayi mere biwi.

Install Shield.......
Hi ,
Its very long that I wrote something, was very busy with office work. A lot happened in office meanwhile. I was working as a QA and now moved to development in the same team. I am now working on Install Shield, like a build engineer to create the installer for the product. Its almost more than 6 months that I have worked in install shield and now having a good knowledge in this field.
I am somehow enjoying my work in this field, I always wanted to be a developer, but somehow without my concern they had put me to QA. I am now where I should have been 3 yrs back. Anyways its never to late to start.. Hope things moves on fine from here. I am planning to improve my skills by learning other technologies as well.
Why am I posting today ?? Not having much work today in office, just was browsing couple of blogs of my colleagues and then got inspired to write to something and here I am writing one..
Soon would be updating my blog, keep watching...
Lots of Love,
Dhee

GM working on new enhanced vision systems

Research and Development at General Motors, in cooperation with several universities, is developing a way of using augmented reality in automobiles.
This isn’t the same type of augmented reality used in scavenger hunts, but it is able to gather data from vehicle sensors and cameras to project images generated by compact ultraviolet lasers right on the surface of the windshield itself.
Here is a link to a video where you can see a developer talking about the technology, also known as enhanced vision system. You will see an instance of when the lasers paint the edge of the road on the windshield in foggy weather. This is so the driver knows where the edge is and can avoid it, which is very difficult to see when visibility is low.
You may also have noticed how it can circle the speed limit sign as the car drives by. Some of you might have a GPS that reminds you have that, but I suppose the visual reminder helps as well. In fact, this system helps to locate other obstacles on the road too.
Well, it would appear that this is still concept technology, and it’s pretty crude. I mean, it would be cooler if there was a more defined line outlining the road, but this feels more like something at a laser show.

Augmented Reality Vs. Virtual Reality: Which One Is More Real?
Remember when virtual reality was all the rage? It had a good run, especially during the 1990s, and perhaps culminating with Second Life in the decade which just closed. But virtual reality is old in the tooth. People are a lot more interested these days in “augmented reality,” or at least they are on Google where it surpassed “virtual reality” as a search term sometime last summer (see chart).
Maybe people are searching for it more just because they are not sure what it means, but it definitely is entering the collective consciousness. If virtual reality is a complete immersion in a digital world, augmented reality (AR) is more a digital overlay onto the real world. It enhances the real world with digital data, and therefore it is much more interesting than a completely fabricated environment. There is an element of magic to AR apps because they juxtapose data and graphics where they have no business showing up.
The advent of touchscreen mobile phones with GPS and cameras such as the iPhone and Android phones is giving rise to an array of AR apps from Sekai Camera, Layar, and more. Generally, these apps show the world around you as seen through your phone’s camera, but in addition to functioning as a viewfinder, your screen also functions as a regular computer screen. With help from the GPS and on-board compass, it can place information or graphics on top of buildings or objects seen through the viewfinder.
But that is just the start. Universityresearch labs are springing up to explore augmented realty as a new computing interface. The latest AR app is the Parrot AR.Drone, and combines a flying remote controlled toy with an iPhone app. The app turns the iPhone into a remote control (a concept we’ve seen applied to video games), but there is also a camera on the drone, which let’s you see from its point of view and play virtual shoot ‘em up games with other drones. The shooting happens on the screen, while the toys fly through the air in real life. There is also a solo mode where you can shoot enemy jets on the screen juxtaposed into your living room or wherever you happen to be flying the drone. (Watch the video below to see what I mean).
You can take your virtual reality and get lost on Second Life. I’ll take augmented reality any day. It’s just more real.

Microsoft Calculator failure
Microsoft's Calculator failed in following calculation.
Go to START -> RUN -> Type "CALC" (without quotations) -> Hit "OK" button.
This should open the calculator.
Now, try the following calculations:
* 2704/50 = 54.08 (Works Fine)
* 2704/51 = 53.01960784 (Works Fine)
* 2704/52 = ___ (DOESN' T WORK!!!)
* 2704/53 = 51.01886792 (Works Fine)
* 2704/54 = 50.07407407 (Works Fine)
